When the women in the community are deeply well, the community, as a whole, is well. It is innovative and responsible, responsive rather than reactive.
It orients itself to the future while living fully embedded in the present.
We have known this for millennia – when women’s culture is respected, empowered and well-nourished, the culture itself, thrives.
Please join me and a community of vibrant women from around the world as we attend to what is our responsibility…the nourishing and evolving of Women’s Culture.
When the women in the community are deeply well, the community, as a whole, is well. It is innovative, responsible and responsive rather than reactive. It orients itself to the future while living fully embedded in the present. We have known this for millennia – when women’s culture is well-nourished, the culture itself, thrives.
But what does it mean for women’s culture to be well? And how do we cultivate a healthy vibrant culture amidst the unraveling of our larger culture? How do we know what it means to be well, to be nourished, when we have spent a few millennia deeply un-well?
Please join me and a community of women from around the world for an embodied, experiential exploration into well women’s culture. In this 9-week online immersion we will create the intimate container of a process-focused women’s group while learning the skills to create generative, resilient community as we go.
Reweaving is part experience and part facilitator training, so we will explore key aspects of creating and sustaining vibrant women’s groups, including the terrain of culture, conflict, community, container and ceremony.
If you long for a nourishing and well-held group experience that gracefully gives you the tools to create such a space on your own, in your own community, this is the group for you.
Our Container:
We will meet weekly for 9 weeks via ZOOM
Please be present for at least 6 of the 9 session – because this is an experiential, process-oriented journey and you are an integral part of it all
Our sessions will be recorded so you can watch again, or watch for the first time, if you miss one
We are cultivating well-women’s culture. Women of all backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and spiritual traditions are not only welcome, but wanted. Our diverse expression is a critical aspect of vibrant community and we learn from, and with, each other particularly when our culturally sanctioned beliefs about who is ‘other’ and who is ‘ally’ are challenged.
Things we will explore and learn:
The practical structure of a nourishing, generative women’s group; how to create the container for invested and vibrant commitment
Basic group forms and processes to use as a foundation, or jumping off point
The fundamentals of a leaderless (or co-lead) group
How to work with conflict – which is not only inevitable, it is to be welcomed because, when navigated well, it is generative to the group
Different forms of Council, including the Truth-Telling Council & The Love Council – two original council forms that build deep roots, trust and care
A Fierce Invitation:
This is a place of learning; learning through the body and from the heart, for the purposes of supporting our truthful, courageous and unapologetic expression in the world
We will not create a culture where orthodoxy reigns. In other words, we do not expect that all of us will identify ourselves according to the same labels or experiences. No matter how we ask to be addressed, how we orient or what we choose as critical to our experience of well-being, no one will be de-centered so that others can feel centered. We will work within an ecological model that attempts to create a living system within which each of moves fluidly in, and out, of center.
I expect that all who participate are well enough to take responsibility for their feelings and experiences. In our current culture, devoid of role models, we have learned to say we are not safe when, most of the time, we are simply uncomfortable. In this group it will be very unlikely that anyone is ever genuinely unsafe. Simultaneously, if we are showing up fully, it is very likely that we will spend some time being uncomfortable. The purpose of this group is to learn how to create affinity where our nervous systems (and perhaps our cultures) have told us there are adversaries and enemies. The purpose of these groups is to create pathways of heart-centered revolution through the center of our perceived limitations, scarcity and othering. As if Life depended on us doing so….because, women, it most assuredly does.

(Some partial scholarships are available. Please email me and we can explore the options.)
A note on the investment: Please choose your right tuition level carefully, remembering that our experience of our financial capacity is so deeply subjective, influenced by the incessant messaging from the dominant culture and a flawed image of wealth. Particularly in these Covid times, the chasm between the wealthy and those who are struggling to attend to their basic needs has grown exponentially. Whether you are wealthy or struggling, if this group is for you, you have a place here. This course is open to all, regardless of your capacity to pay. And…let’s be guided by way-shower Betty Martin who reminds us that “when we give what we can and not what we can’t, the magic happens.” This is made all the more possible by those of us who have even just a little more than we need contributing towards those who do not; and those who need help having the courage to receive it when it is offered with full heart. Thank you, in advance, for your thoughtful consideration of your capacity and/or your need.
